In the past, it has been very difficult for North Americans
traveling to Las Lenas. At Las Lenas Vacations,
it is our entire goal to make the experience easy and
enjoyable. Where in the past, it was a gamble, hoping
that you booked the right services, at the right place, you
can now be certain of your choices by dealing with
people that know the "ins" and "outs" of Las Lenas like
no one else…Las Lenas Vacations.
In order to take advantage of the 90-minute charter flights
run between Las Lenas Ski Resort and Buenos Aires, trips to
Las Lenas are typically booked from Saturday to Saturday.
These charter flights generally fly on Boeing 737 or Airbus
319 jets and land at the Malargue airport (a 45 minute drive
from Las Lenas Ski Resort).
One, two, or three week trips are the most popular.
As dedicated skiers and boarders, we recommend that you come
for 2 or 3 weeks, but a 1-week trip is also outstanding. There
is so much terrain to explore in Las Lenas that 2 or 3 weeks
is a great amount of time to take it all in!
There are several lodging and food options
that exist, which will allow for a few different price levels.
We find that most North Americans are happiest in either Escorpio
or Pisces,
both of which are great ski-in, ski-out hotels. Escorpio
is most like a typical “ski lodge” and is closest to the chairlifts.
Pisces is a bit fancier and has more amenities including an
indoor/outdoor pool, a hot tub, choice of restaurants, and
a casino located within the hotel. Both places are great and
highly recommended.
